Furniture Maker - REDU NYC

REDU NYC

"Our goal is to keep usable materials out of the landfill, up-cycling them with sustainable design, into objects of utility and beauty."

.

.

REDU NYC, run by Amber Lasciak, is a sustainable interiors and furniture design company. All of REDU’s products are made from 99% re-use of materials. Amber believes that “trash is a mentality,” and wants to help make NYC green by keeping usable materials out of the landfill using innovation and creativity. The hope is that one day we collectively start to see the value in our own waste-streams, spurring interest to do something creative with them or making sure they end up with sustainable creative entities (such as REDU).

REDU NYC is located in Brooklyn, New York (USA).

"SUSTAINABILITY IS THE ONLY ACCEPTABLE FORM OF PROGRESS."

REDU rescues furniture and dry waste construction materials before they enter the waste-stream. Everything is taken from deconstructed buildings, local maker shops, and local businesses. They rescue what others believe no longer has value and upcycle them into pieces of utility.
